Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Baroness Emma Nicholson, Trade Envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom to Azerbaijan, Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
Minister M. Jabbarov stressed the development of relations between the countries, expansion of relations in different fields of economy.
Joint projects with Great Britain in the field of energy, renewable energy, and the successful activity of BP have been also noted in the meeting, and the importance of the establishment of the working group between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Azerbaijan in expanding of economic cooperation has been mentioned.
Baroness Emma Nicholson has also noted that her country gives great importance to the development of economic-trade relations with Azerbaijan, British companies are interested in participating in projects carried out in the liberated territories from the occupation and noted new areas of cooperation and opportunities for joint initiatives.
