Soon, it is planned to sign the relevant Operation Agreement between Nakhchivan State Energy Service and TEIASH (Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation) on energy export (exchange), the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan released information in this regard on its Telegram channel, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information of the service, mutual discussions were held between TEIASH and the Service regarding the documentation related to the conclusion of the relevant "Operational Agreement" regarding the energy export (exchange) between the transmission and distribution substations, the current state of power transmission lines, the locations of meters, the areas of application of relay-protection systems on the Türkiye and Nakhchivan sides.
ENTSO (European Network of Transmission System Operators) has allowed the transmission of 75 megawatts of export (the Turkish side must be in passive island mode) and 40 megawatts of import (the Nakhchivan side must be in passive island mode) on the Türkiye-Nakhchivan electricity import-export connection.
