Türkiye's Center for Combating Disinformation has reported the detection of biased and deliberate posts targeting relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, APA reports citing a statement released on the center's social media account.
According to the statement, the identification of material in certain international media outlets and on social media platforms targeting the two countries' unshakable ties, strategic alliance, and the "One nation, two states" concept.
It was stated that these posts constitute an overt information manipulation operation aimed at damaging the deep-rooted relations between the two friendly and fraternal nations and undermining regional peace and stability.
"Türkiye and Azerbaijan continue to mutually advance their relations across all sectors, built upon foundations of shared history, culture, and unshakable brotherhood. Attempts to mislead the public through manipulative statements—set against the backdrop of the strategic partnership, joint initiatives, and cooperative projects between the two countries—will not succeed," the statement emphasized. The center has urged the public not to trust such materials, which are intended for psychological warfare, and to rely solely on statements from official bodies.
