Agreements on a number of joint projects involving Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan were reached during the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit held in Turkmenistan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
In an interview with Iranian state television, the minister referred to the meeting between the leaders of the three countries, noting that the meeting was organized at Russia's initiative.
He stated that several joint projects involving Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan were discussed during the meeting, and agreements were reached regarding their implementation.
Araghchi noted that there are a number of projects involving economic cooperation among the three countries.
