Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Navi Pillay, APA reports.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement on the matter.
The statement said that the Nobel Committee had lost its “moral compass.”
“Navi Pillay’s proudest achievement has been legitimizing a corrupt prosecutor who brought false accusations against Israel. That prosecutor was trying to escape rape allegations brought against him by joining the anti-Israel lynch mob,” Netanyahu’s Office said, referring to former International Criminal Court prosecutor Karim Khan.
It should be noted that Karim Khan issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu.
