Reconstruction efforts in Karabakh are giving people renewed hope, Gilbert Masengeli, Deputy Inspector General of the Administration Police Service of Kenya's National Police Service and a participant in the Fourth International Conference held within the framework of the "Baku Dialogue" on Missing Persons, told journalists in Shusha, APA reports.

He emphasized the importance of the reconstruction work carried out by Azerbaijan in the territories liberated from occupation and the support provided to families displaced from their native lands.

Gilbert Masengeli noted that the Azerbaijani government's efforts to restore the region to its former condition and its support for displaced families are giving people renewed hope:

"It is a positive development that the Azerbaijani government has begun reconstruction efforts to restore this area to its former condition and is providing support to families displaced from their native lands. This gives those families renewed hope and allows them to return to their lives. We have come to Azerbaijan to participate in the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons. The experience we have gained here, as well as the experience we have had in Kenya, is extremely important. It allows us to come together to find ways to help the families of missing persons locate their loved ones. Because this cannot be achieved without uncovering the truth."
