Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Turkmenistan discussed cooperation in the field of energy-transport

On the eve of the first trilateral summit to be held between Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Turkmenistan, the leaders of the relevant institutions of the three countries discussed the issues of developing cooperation in the field of energy at a meeting held today in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, APA-Economics reports citing "Turkmenistan: Golden age" edition, APA-Economics reports.

According to the information, it is expected that the upcoming meeting of the heads of state of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkiye, which will result in the signing of a number of important agreements, will give a new impetus to the development of relations in the strategic energy sector of the trilateral partnership.

Within the framework of preparation for the high-level negotiations, the heads of the energy administrations of the three countries discussed certain aspects of multilateral cooperation established on a long-term, mutually beneficial basis, the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as the possibility of implementing new joint projects.
