The infrastructure established on the Azerbaijan–Iran border will ensure the passage capacity of up to 1,000 cargo trucks per day, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev said during his speech at a meeting of the Azerbaijan–Russia Business Council, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that, together with the Russian delegation, a review was conducted of key components of new branches of the North–South and East–West international transport corridors: “During the review, they were familiarized with the highway in the direction of the Aghband settlement, a road bridge, and border crossing points being constructed on the Azerbaijan–Iran border.”
