During January-August of current year, in Azerbaijan, 16.4 bcm out of the 33 bcm of gas produced with an increase of 800 million cubic meter, in comparison with the corresponding period of last year, was exported, said Parviz Shahbazov, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan in the post he posted on his X account, APA-Economics reports.
According to the reports, during the reporting period, approximately 8.4 billion cubic meters of gas were exported from Azerbaijan to Europe.
"6.5 billion cubic meters of gas were exported to Türkiye and 1.5 billion cubic meters to Georgia. During this period, 3.7 billion cubic meters of gas was transported to Türkiye with TANAP. Within the 8 months of this year, the sale of gas abroad is approximately 3.1% more than in the corresponding period of the last year", - it is stated in the information.
According to the minister, during the 8 months of this year, the production of oil condensate in the country was 19.3 million tons, and the volume transported for export was 16 million tons.
