Associated gas production in Azerbaijan increased by more than 16%

In Azerbaijan, the total value of the production in the mining industry has decreased by 0,1% in comparison to the January-March of the previous year, being AZN 15,2 bln in the first term of this year, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

Associated crude oil production which is the main product of the field has made up 8 323,4 thousand tonnes and associated natural gas production has made up 9 084,3 mln cubic meters.

According to the information, in the reporting period, Associated oil production has decreased by 5,4% in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, associated gas production has increased by 16,4%.

In total, 8 347,8 thousand tonnes of oil (5,3% decrease) and 11 802,9 mln cubic meters of gas (13,5% increase) have been produced in the first term of this year.
