Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Media outlets wishing to participate in the campaign on the March 18 referendum have to send notification to the Central Election Commission (CEC) in advance. CEC press service told APA that media outlets have to publish information about air time, conditions and amount of payment within 35 days (by February 1) after the decision on referendum is officially published.
Public Television, Azerbayjan, Khalg gezeti, Respublika and Bakinskiy rabochiy newspaper will carry out free pre-referendum campaign.
Referendum on amendments and annexes to Azerbaijan’s Constitution will be held on March 18.
