Baku – APA. Iranian human rights activist, Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi will visit Baku to attend the South Caucus Forum on May 6-8, press service of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.
Shirin Ebadi is the first Azerbaijani women, who won the Nobel Prize created at the expense of Baku oil. Shirin Ebadi won Nobel Peace Prize in 2013 for her struggle for the development of democracy and human rights, especially for the sake of women and children’s rights in Iran.
More than 200 famous scientists, strategists, as well as more than 30 former heads of state and government from 50 countries will participate in the South Caucasus Forum to be jointly organized by Nizami Ganjavi International Center and Madrid Club.
