Baku. Malahat Najafova - APA. “We always have individual approach and pay special attention to the establishment of Azerbaijan-related organizations abroad. We may welcome an organization established in any country. Establishment of an organization abroad may damage the Azerbaijani Diaspora, therefore, we have negative opinion on it. We expressed our negative attiude to the establishment of the “Bilionaires’ Union” in Russia. We consider that if an Azerbaijani wants to serve the Azerbaijani state, statehood, give an impetus to the development of the relations between the two countries, he can work for one of the existing organizations. This will improve the activity of the Diaspora,” chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov said, APA reports.
“We reiterate that if they say they are devoted to the Azerbaijani state, statehood, we are ready to act jointly with them. It is still early to say something positive about the organizaiton. Much was spoken about it in media, various views were expressed. Officials said time is required.
Some persons in Russia wanted to gain dividends. They demonstrated how far they are from the Azerbaijani statehood. Time will solve everything. Public opinion is very active and attentive, so no one can gain dividends taking advantage of the situation.
Azerbaijan’s position is unambiguous. Senior officials have expressed their position. Being the State Committee we state that the establishment of this organization could do nothing but damage the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia. The Azerbaijanis involved in this may participate in the activity of the Diaspora,” he said.
