The event began with the presentation of a video about the work carried out by the international information campaign "Justice for Khojaly". After, Leyla Aliyeva spoke about the details of Khojaly genocide. According to her, as a result of the Khojaly genocide 613 people were killed, 1,000 civilians were disabled by wounds, "As a result of another massacre committed by Armenian aggressors against the Azerbaijani people were killed 106 women, 83 children and 70 elderly. 1275 civilians were taken hostage, while the fate of 150 people still does not know anything. "

Leyla Aliyeva, referring to the work done in the framework of the campaign "Justice for Khojaly", said that the campaign is successfully carried out in many countries of the world: "The campaign" Justice for Khojaly "successfully carried out in a number of countries and that international information and the campaign continues to this day. Khojaly genocide is recognized in a number of countries. Parliaments of Pakistan, Mexico, Romania, the Czech Republic declared recognition of Khojaly genocide. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be resolved within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Deprived of their native lands citizens to return to their homes."

Ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu noted in his speech that day, February 26 is a hard date for the Azerbaijani people: "Events in Khojaly 20 years ago will forever remain in our minds, hearts."

The Ambassador noted that Leyla Aliyeva carries out very important work with young people in many countries in this action to inform the world community about the Khojaly tragedy, "Because no one, no nation will can forgive itself for not bringing the genocide to the attention of world."

president of All-Russian Azeri Congress Mammadbagir Aliyev in his speech said that the international community must recognize the events in Khojaly as genocide and give this tragedy the same rating as the others perpetrated by the world's tragedies.

The next speaker was the coordinator of the international information and propaganda campaign "Justice for Khojaly" Nijat Mammadov. He informed the participants about the company, spoke about the work done.

Note that in the framework of the ceremony was organized an exhibition of paintings on the theme of "Khojaly. Mercy ", painted by children living in shelters in Azerbaijan.
