Pete Docter and Dana Murray's Soul bagged the award for Best Animated Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards, APA reports citing India Today.
The storyline of Soul follows a jazz musician who tries to reunite his accidentally separated soul and body. It had a digital release and was streaming exclusively on Disney+Hotstar. Soul is Pixar's first movie to feature a black protagonist (voiced by Jamie Foxx) and the first with a black co-director.
