Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Public Television sign Memorandum of Cooperation within Eurovision 2012 preparations

Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which accepted the appeal of the Public Television and Radio Broadcasts Company on rendering support on organization and holding the Eurovision 2012 Song Contest, yielded consent to direct its wide experience in the organization of the international events to this project which is important for Azerbaijan.

The organization of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which rendered support to the project from the first day of Azerbaijanâ€™s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, has played a role in the successful representation of our country in this contest.

Eurovision Song Contest is also a significant event for the recognition of Azerbaijanâ€™s rich history and cultural heritage in the world. From this standpoint, the cooperation with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which is implementing social, cultural, educational and other projects, is considered important in both organizational and propaganda sphere.

The memorandum considers the involvement of specialists in organization and holding of various cultural events, decorating of Baku city in correspondence with the contest, rendering assistance to the organization of traditional social programs like â€œEurovillageâ€, â€œEuroclubâ€ during Eurovision Song Contest weeks and involvement of the volunteersâ€™ team and the other issues.
