â€œEurovison-2012â€ Security and Communication issues discussed in Baku

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova-APA. A meeting on Security and Public Relations was held in Baku in the frame of preparation to â€œEurovision-2012â€. Organizing security issues of delegations represented at the song contest and security of Eurovision concert hall were discussed at the meeting, participated by the European Broadcasting union (EBU) representatives. At other meeting, relations with mass media and public relations were discussed, Public relations department of Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Public Relations department told APA.

EBU was represented at the meeting by Jan Ola Sand, Executive Producer of Song Contest, Jorgen Frank, head of the Eurovision TV, Sietse Bakker, Organizer-producer of Eurovision Song Contest, Karen Mazzoli EBU Media Officer. Then, the guests at the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company highly assessed â€œ1 channelâ€. â€œThe reason to come here is to get acquainted with preparation process of Eurovision. Today we have held extended meeting covering issues multilaterally. Mainly, security and communications issues were discussed. We have successful cooperation with Public TVâ€, said Executive Producer Jan Ola Sand.

Eurovision TV head Jorgen Frank called Public TV as reliable partner. â€œtwo main issues were discussed at the meeting. One of them is security and other is public relations. We are doing our best to make available people come Azerbaijan easily and enjoy show. In these issues Public TV is reliable partner.

Next meeting on the preparation for the contest will be held in January, 2012.
