Eurovision center starts functioning in connection with Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Azerbaijan

APAâ€™s correspondent visited the center and familiarized herself with the process of preparation. Eurovision Song Contest Baku -2012 posters have been placed at the entry of Baku Business Center.

Eurovision museum will be founded at the center. The museum will cover the history of 57-year Eurovision contest and Azerbaijanâ€™s participation in this contest.

There will also be a press center at Eurovision center. The center will be open for journalists and delegations throughout the contest. There will be special halls for press conferences. The center will facilitate contacts among journalists and delegations. All the information concerning Eurovision 2012 project will be transmitted from this center.

Eurovision center will be inaugurated in the short run. Preparations are being made to this effect.

Eurovision center has been founded under the instructions of president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. Mehriban Aliyeva is the head of the Organizing Committee of Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
