Week of Iranian culture opened in Azerbaijan

According to APA, the ceremony was opened with demonstration of the film describing nature, culture, economy and industry of Iran. After reading Holy Quran, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Baghir Bahrami addressed the ceremony. He spoke about the friendly relations and the development of relationship between Iran and Azerbaijan. â€œWe pray for liberation of the occupied lands of Azerbaijanâ€.

Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev said that Azerbaijan has seen Iran as a friendly country since the first years of its independence. Minister said President Ilham Aliyev attaches special attention to the week of culture. â€œThis event will contribute to the development of dialogue between the culturesâ€.

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Network of Iran Mohammad Hosseini emphasized the historic and cultural relations between the two countries. He thanked the government of Azerbaijan for high-level attention to the event.

The exhibition of Iranian artists was opened at the Museum Center of Baku on Monday.
