Romanian Minister of Culture and National Heritage Hunor Kelemen: “We are interested in the development of cultural relations with Azerbaijan”

According to APA, reminding about the Romanian president’s visit to Azerbaijan, Garayev said leaders of both countries are interested in the development of cultural relations. He said Azerbaijani-Romanian intergovernmental agreement signed in 2006 gave an impetus to the opening of a new phase in the development of cultural relations. Garayev said the monument of outstanding Romanian composer George Enescu in Baku is an example of attitude of Azerbaijan to the Romanian culture. He mentioned the relations between the two countries in the field of tourism. “There is a positive cooperation between the Azerbaijan’s Mingachevir Tourism College and Romania’s Braşov Tourism College. We exchange our experiences in the field of tourism”.

Romanian Minister of Culture and National Heritage Hunor Kelemen thanked his counterpart for the high-level welcoming and congratulated Azerbaijan on its victory at the Eurovision 2011. Kelemen said they are interested in the development of cultural relations and he believed the regular joint cultural events would be held further.
