Baku. Ramil Mammadli- APA. Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Romania Hunor Kelemen, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited Heydar Aliyev’s memorial at the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs in Baku. According to APA, the minister told journalists that Romania is interested in strengthening of cultural relations with Azerbaijan and holding joint events. Kelemen said a number of important agreements would be reached during the visit.
The Romanian minister’s visit will last until July 31. Kelemen will meet with Azerbaijani counterpart Abulfas Garayev. The Romanian minister will visit the Museum of Arts, Icherisheher (Old City) Historical-Architectural Reserve and will be an honorary guest at the International Festival of Music in Gabala.
