APA reports that Peter Oleinikoff, Anna Oleinikoff, Nils Oleinikoff, Irene Oleinikoff, Philip Nobel and President of Baku Nobel Heritage Fund Togrul Bagirov attended the meeting. The members of the Nobels’ family presented Abulfas Garayev a lot of historical materials and photos about Azerbaijan.

Abulfas Garayev said the prize named after Ludvig Nobel’s younger brother Alfred Nobel is the most honorable prize in the world.
“Restoration of this family’s relations with Azerbaijan is of great importance. Baku Nobel Heritage Fund has been established in Azerbaijan. Their residence Villa Petrolea was found and restored with the help of this fund, now it is a museum, used for receptions, events. A number of historical items belonging to this family are demonstrated there,” he said.

Minister said the guests presented valuable historical documents to the Azerbaijani museum network.
“These documents have been kept for over a century. Among the documents are the photos of Baku, which we do not have in our archives, materials on the development of oil industry,” he said.

Calling it a great contribution for Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev said a working group will be set up in connection with this. He said scientists and historians will analyze the documents. Some time later these historical documents will be made public.
