Baku to host I World Intercultural Dialogue Forum in April of this year

To him, this year, the Ministry is planning to hold exhibitions of Azerbaijani artist Tahir Salahov in several cities of Russia and organize tours of Azerbaijani theatres in Russian cities: â€œAzerbaijan continues cooperation with Russia in cultural sphere. Within last 2-3 years, we have realized several cultural projects together with Russia. Our theatre troupes staged several spectacles in Russian theatres. Famous Russian dramaturge Chekhovâ€™s work was staged in Azerbaijan. We have cooperation in cinematography sphere as wellâ€.

Special Representative of the Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvidkoy said that Azerbaijan was important strategic partner for Russia in cultural and humanitarian spheres. He noted that Russian-Azerbaijan Humanitarian Forum would be held in Baku in autumn of this year.

Garayev said that recently, Azerbaijan became the center of international symposiums. He noted that on April 7-9, Baku would host I World Intercultural Dialogue Forum: â€œThis forum will be held by the support of the Council of Europe, UNESCO, ISESCO and several international organizationsâ€.
