Polish and Georgian Foreign Ministers discuss new energy corridor

Poland’s Foreign Minister, Anna Fotyga visiting Tbilisi met with his Georgian counterpart Gela Bejuashvili. The ministers discussed energy security and new energy corridor project, APA Georgia bureau reports.
Gela Bejuashvili told his Polish counterpart that Georgia will cooperate with Poland, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and countries of Central Asia.
The ministers discussed arrangements for the visit of Poland’s President Lech Kaczynski to Georgia on April 15-16.
Bejuashvili said that they also discussed Georgia’s integration into European Union and NATO, situation in the Black Sea region, Georgia’s relations with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey and Russia. The minister said Georgia supports the idea of holding energy summit in Poland in 2007.
Fotyga will arrive in Azerbaijan today, and meet with Azerbaijani officials tomorrow. /APA/
