Flights of light-engine aircraft, as well as civilian UAVs, at altitudes of up to 5,200 meters will be restricted in Russia from June 20 until further notice, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya).
It was stated that, based on a submission by the Ministry of Defense, airspace restrictions will be imposed over the city of Moscow, most of the Moscow region, and parts of the Ryazan, Tula, Kaluga, Tver, Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions.
Rosaviatsiya emphasized that the exceptions will apply to state and experimental aviation aircraft.
