United States President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he has a "great" partnership with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but that even he would admit that Washington is the "big partner" and Israel is the "very small partner", APA reports.
"Bibi Netanyahu happens to be a good man, gets a little excited sometimes. But he happens to be a very good man. We've had an amazing partnership. He's an amazing prime minister. We have a little dispute over Lebanon. I say, 'You could do a little softer touch, Bibi.' You don't have to knock down a building every time somebody walks into it that's from Hezbollah," Trump said during his press conference at the G7 summit in France, thanking Netanyahu for Israel's efforts in Iran.
