The Iranian source says these issues “do not appear to be particularly complex”, Al Jazeera reports.
The source said: “Provided there is no malign interference by other parties, an agreement could be reached as early as today or tomorrow.”
The diplomatic source also said the Strait of Hormuz has not been closed due to the differences between Iran and Oman.
Therefore, any closure or reopening of the strait will depend on any actions by the US that are deemed to violate international law, the source added.
