Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan and Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine) intend to extend the cooperation in tourism sphere, said the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Alexander Live at the meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Ebulfaz Garayev within the AITF 2013, the Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair.
The sides discussed current relations and cooperation and development perspectives of these relations.
Live noted that 560 sanatoriums operate in Crimean resorts and this is the biggest resort in Black Sea region: “In 2012, 20,000 Azerbaijani tourists visited Crimea and visits of 70% tourists were related with health”.
Live also suggested inrush of tourists from Crimea to Azerbaijan and Crimea-Tatar Society includes 400,000 persons: “We are conducting negotiations with Azerbaijan’s SilkWay Travel company for visiting Naftanal region. So, Crimea has not the therapy tanks like which Naftalan has”.
