Azerbaijan to spend AZN 3.5 million on participation in international sports competitions and sporting events next year

In 2027, AZN 3.5 million is projected to be allocated to finance the organization of various sporting events for the sports teams of the National Paralympic Committee, the National Abilympics Federation, the Deaflympics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Special Olympics Committee, as well as the participation of these teams in international competitions, preparations for international sporting events, and other organizational activities, APA reports.

This is reflected in the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027,” which was submitted for discussion at the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.

It was noted that this is AZN 0.6 million, or 20.7%, more than in 2026.
