Amount of funds to be allocated for housing and rent for military personnel in Azerbaijan next year revealed

A total of AZN 15.0 million has been allocated in Azerbaijan's 2027 state budget to finance housing provision and other necessary expenses for active-duty and reserve military personnel who have served for 20 years or more, APA reports.

This is reflected in the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027,” which was submitted for discussion at the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.

According to the draft, AZN 14.7 million is envisaged for monetary compensation paid to military personnel who do not have housing, including reserve and retired military personnel, for rented residential premises.
