Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has said that the results of the US midterm elections show that Americans have rejected war, Ghalibaf said this on the social media platform X, APA reports.
Ghalibaf linked the election results to concerns among the US population over the cost of living and opposition to the country's involvement in military operations abroad.
"Whether because of their conscience or the cost of living, Americans said 'No' to war, and we support this message," the Iranian Parliament Speaker said.
He also issued a warning to the US administration.
"If the US government betrays the will of its own people to serve international patrons and blackmailers, it will realize that our 'No' comes with a nightmare," Ghalibaf emphasized.
