The decline in the cryptocurrency market continues. Most major digital assets have lost value over the past 24 hours, while the price of Bitcoin has fallen to $76,000, APA-Economics reports.

According to data from the CoinMarketCap platform, Bitcoin declined by 0.66% over the past 24 hours to $76,097.94. The cryptocurrency's price has decreased by 6.17% over the past seven days and by 11.81% over the past 30 days.

Ethereum fell by 0.18% to $2,238.91, while BNB declined by 1.15% to $686.10. Bitcoin Cash lost 2.09% of its value, falling to $268.11, Bittensor dropped by 0.83% to $220.25, and Quant decreased by 1.15% to $188.28.

Meanwhile, some cryptocurrencies recorded gains. Zcash rose by 3.48% to $1,172.42, while Monero increased by 3.09% to $624.90.

Positive dynamics were also observed among gold-backed cryptocurrencies. PAX Gold (PAXG) rose by 0.24% to $3,937.72, while Tether Gold (XAUT) increased by 0.32% to $3,927.47.

The CoinMarketCap 20 index declined by 0.51% over the past 24 hours to 154.77 points. Bitcoin's market capitalization fell to $1.53 trillion.

Analysts say the weak performance of the cryptocurrency market may be linked to investors' cautious stance toward risky assets and continued selling pressure. Meanwhile, the decline in Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies amid rising prices of gold-backed digital assets indicates that price movements in different directions are being observed in the market.
