The fiscal break-even price of oil is expected to reach $65 per barrel in 2030, APA-Economics reports.
This is reflected in the 2027 State Budget Package of the Republic of Azerbaijan, submitted for discussion at the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.
The document notes that this figure is significantly lower than the current level of $85.
It was stated that although price forecasts remain highly volatile, the likelihood of oil prices falling below $65 in the medium term is low.
It was also emphasized that the reduction of transfers from the State Oil Fund in the medium term will ensure the preservation of the Fund's assets even under unfavorable oil price conditions.
