Azerbaijan's net financial assets reach AZN 110 billion

As of October 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's net financial assets amounted to AZN 109 billion 880.7 million, APA-Economics reports.

This is reflected in the Republic of Azerbaijan's 2027 state budget package, which was submitted for discussion at the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis.

According to the document, the balance of the State Oil Fund's assets taken into account in calculating net financial assets amounted to AZN 125 billion 864.8 million, the balance of the single treasury account stood at AZN 7 billion 670.4 million, while funds from that account transferred for management totaled AZN 224 million.

The amount due this year for servicing the obligations of state-owned enterprises to the state budget amounted to AZN 17.8 million. Thus, the total volume of these funds reached AZN 133 billion 777 million.

Net financial assets were calculated as the difference remaining after deducting the total domestic and external public debt of AZN 23 billion 896.3 million from this amount.
