The US Air Force has approached defense companies regarding the production and delivery of more than 1,000 ERAM cruise missiles intended for Ukraine, UNIAN reports, citing Air Force Times.
The ERAM missiles are expected to weigh approximately 230 kilograms, have a flight range of more than 463 kilometers, and reach speeds exceeding Mach 0.6. The missiles must be capable of striking targets with a maximum deviation of 10 meters, even under conditions of electronic interference.
Companies must submit their proposals by November 19. Deliveries of the first missiles are planned to begin within three months after the contract is signed, with the entire order expected to be completed within 15 months.
Note that the development of missiles under the ERAM program began in 2024. In August 2025, the US approved the possible sale of 3,350 such missiles to Ukraine for $825 million.
