Azerbaijan prepares strategic plan on development of tourism

The Culture and Tourism Ministry's tourism department told APA that the work has already been started to prepare the plan.

In this regard, the representatives and experts of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism were invited to Azerbaijan and studies were conducted in coastal zone and offshore areas of Azerbaijan during five days. The representatives visited Siyazan, Shabran, Khachmaz, Lankaran and Shahdag Winter-Summer Tourism Complex in Gusar.

It was reported that they collected all information for the purpose of study. The draft Strategic Plan will be submitted to the Culture and Tourism Ministry soon.
