Restoration and reconstruction work is continuing in stages in Jahangirbayli village of Zangilan district, Emil Aghazade, Deputy Executive Director of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, told journalists, APA reports.
He stated that the village has been designed to cover an area of 179.54 hectares. In the first phase, 242 private residential houses are being constructed on an area of 62.57 hectares.
According to him, the houses are being built in various types and sizes to suit the composition and housing needs of families. Of the 162 single-storey houses in the first phase, 54 have two rooms and 108 have three rooms. Of the 80 two-storey houses, 70 have four rooms and 10 have five rooms. A separate household plot and an outbuilding are also planned for each private residential house.
Emil Aghazade noted that social and public facilities are also being constructed alongside residential houses in Jahangirbayli village. The village is planned to have an administrative building, a multifunctional building, a market complex, a school with a capacity of 264 pupils, and a kindergarten with 80 places.
"Construction of Jahangirbayli village began on April 9, 2024. Work on engineering, utility and road infrastructure is currently ongoing. Road and sidewalk networks, auxiliary buildings and fencing works are being carried out," the Service official said.
He added that design work related to protecting the village from rainwater and floodwaters has been completed, and the measures envisaged in the project will be implemented.
According to Emil Aghazade, attention is being paid to ensuring that construction work complies with project specifications and regulatory requirements, the quality of materials used, and the fulfillment of technical requirements, while technical supervision is carried out at all stages.
