Washington would not like the UN headquarters to be located in Brussels, Moscow, or Beijing, rather than New York. US Permanent Representative to the UN Mike Waltz stated this in an interview with Fox News, APA reports.
"There needs to be a place in the world where everyone can gather, talk, and overcome differences. President [US President Donald Trump] wants it to be in his hometown, New York. We don't want the UN [headquarters] to be in Beijing, Moscow, or Brussels," he said ahead of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
