Former US Vice President Kamala Harris is unlikely to run for president again in 2028, her former aides and advisers told Axios, APA reports.
According to the report, only one of eight people formerly in Harris’ inner circle believes she may enter the race. Two said the chances were roughly equal, while five expected her not to run.
The former advisers said Harris is not currently showing signs of preparing another presidential bid. They pointed to her limited travel across the country, absence from public debates and failure to assemble a campaign team.
They also suggested that Harris could face difficulties raising enough money for a presidential campaign.
Harris has not yet announced whether she intends to take part in the 2028 presidential election.
She lost the November 2024 US presidential election to Republican candidate Donald Trump.
