Presentation ceremony of European Court of Human Rights’ Azerbaijani newsletter takes place

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev–APA. Presentation ceremony of the Azerbaijani newsletter of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) supported by the Council of Europe (CE) took place on Thursday. Special Representative of the CE Secretary General to Azerbaijan Veronica Koteck said the newsletter was issued jointly by the Eurasian Lawyers Association, Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation and Baku Legal Center. She said the newsletter would be issued a run of one thousand copies and shared freely. According to Koteck, the newsletter contains ECHR decisions on 23 countries. Editor-in-Chief of the newsletter and representative of Azerbaijan to ECHR Chingiz Askarov expressed confidence in usefulness of the publication. Member of the Editorial Council of the publication Ali Huseynov said the newsletter was necessary publication for Azerbaijani lawyers.
