Foreign individuals and legal entities may use fish and other aquatic bioresources in the water bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
This is reflected in the new draft Law "On Fisheries," which was discussed at today's meeting of the parliamentary Committee on Agrarian Policy.
According to the draft, individuals and legal entities of foreign states use fish and other aquatic bioresources in the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the procedure envisaged by the normative legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, international treaties to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party, as well as other norms of international law. The right and procedure for the use of fish and other aquatic bioresources in the Republic of Azerbaijan by individuals and legal entities of foreign states are determined by the body (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority.
