180 people from 44 families return to Khankendi, Khojaly and Aghdara - PHOTO

The resettlement to the liberated territories continues, APA's Karabakh bureau reports.

On June 25, another 44 families returned to the city of Khankendi and several settlements in the Khojaly and Aghdara districts.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, at this stage, 34 people from 8 families were resettled to the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city, 7 people from 2 families to the village of Ballija in Khojaly district, 5 people from 2 families to the village of Badara, and 5 people from 2 families to the village of Khanabad.

At the same time, 53 people from 13 families moved to the village of Hasanriz in Aghdara district, another 53 people from 13 families to the village of Childiran, and 23 people from 4 families to the village of Vangli.

The residents returning to their native homes were welcomed in the settlements and received the keys to their new apartments. The relocated families had previously lived temporarily in various regions of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

It should be noted that large-scale restoration and reconstruction work is continuing in the liberated territories, and the necessary infrastructure is being created to ensure comfortable and safe living conditions for the population.
