Eurovision 2010 First Semifinal takes place in Oslo today – <font color=red> PHOTOSESSION </font>

Oslo. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. First Semifinal of the Eurovision 2010 Song Contest will take place in Oslo on Tuesday. 17 countries will participate in the First Semifinal: Moldova, Russia, Estonia, Slovakia, Finland, Latvia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Belgium, Malta, Albania, Greece, Portugal, Macedonia, Belarus and Iceland. Greece’s “Opa” is a favorite among them. Moldova, Serbia, Belarus, Iceland, Albania, Belgium, Slovakia, Latvia and Russia are also expected to be qualified for the Final on May 29. Public Television of Azerbaijan will broadcast live show this night. Azerbaijani citizens inside the country can not vote in the First Semifinal. They will vote in the Second Semifinal for 16 participants except Azerbaijani representative Safura Alizadeh with her Drip Drop. Azerbaijanis living abroad can vote for Safura.

The Second Semifinal will take place on May 27 with participation of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine, Denmark, Israel, Lithuania, Sweden, Switzerland, Georgia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, the Netherlands, Romania, Armenia and Slovenia. Azerbaijan, Turkey, Israel, Armenia, Denmark, Croatia, Romania, Sweden, Georgia, Ukraine have a chance to be finalists.

France, Germany, Spain, Britain and Eurovision 2009 winner Norway have a right to direct participation in the Final.

Nadia Hasnaoui, Eric Solbakken and Haddy Njie will host Eurovision 2010 show.
