Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education has sent textbooks for the 2026-2027 academic year to Azerbaijani-language general education schools in Georgia, APA’s local bureau reports.
A total of 22,050 copies of 18 different textbooks were handed over to Georgia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Youth.
The materials consist of “Azerbaijani Language” and “Literature” textbooks for grades I-XI.
The handover ceremony took place with the participation of representatives of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Science and Education and Georgia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, as well as Fuad Chiragov, education adviser at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.
The textbooks are expected to be distributed to Azerbaijani-language schools before the start of the new academic year.
