Oil prices continue to rise on the global market, APA-Economics reports.
The price of November futures for Brent crude rose by $0.61, or 0.63%, to $97.61 per barrel.
WTI crude October futures increased by $1.52, or 1.66%, reaching $93 per barrel.
Analysts note that the rise in oil prices is linked to renewed tensions between the United States and Iran and concerns that supplies from the Middle East could remain constrained for an extended period. Iran has warned that it will respond to new US attacks, while shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has again declined.
