Tezepir Mosque re-opened after reconstruction

Baku â€“ APA. Tezepir Mosque complex were re-opened after the major reconstruction and wide construction works on July 6. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony. Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh informed President Aliyev about the reconstruction and construction work there, press service of the President told APA.

The head of state visited the mosque, ceremonial room, Baku Islamic Universityâ€™s building, library and administrative building of the Caucasian Muslims Office. Then President Aliyev addressed the local and foreign guests at the conference hall of the complex.

Sheik-al-Islam Allhashukur Pashazadeh, Baku and Caspian bishop Alexander, chairman of the Highland Jews Commuity Semyon Ikhiilov, Vatican nuncio Claudio Gucerotti, chairman of the North Caucasus Muslims Council Ismayil Berdiyev attended the ceremony.
