Hidayat Orujov receives Indian ambassador

Baku â€“ APA. Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations Hidayat Orujov received the ambassador of India to Azerbaijan Debnath Show, press service of the State Committee told APA. Orujov said the government of Azerbaijan gave great importance to the relations and cooperation with India. He gave details about the state-religion relations in Azerbaijan and said the government showed comprehensive support for freedom of faith and religious stability in the country. There are no religious discrimination and exclusions in Azerbaijan. Ambassador Show underlined the importance of deepening the relations between the two countries and said the government of India highly appreciated its relations with Azerbaijan. â€œIndia is the second large country for the number of Muslim populations. There are many people of the different faiths in India and they are free in choosing of religious faith. There is no notion of state religion and all religious faiths have equal opportunitiesâ€. Then the State Committee Chairman Hidayat Orujov answered the questions interested the ambassador.
