Allahshukur Pashazadeh to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh will visit Iraq on May 20 on the invitation of the Iraqi government, press service of the Caucasian Muslims Office told APA. Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Iraq Qahtan Al-Jibouri invited him during his visit to Baku. Pashazadeh will meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki. They will discuss the prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Iraq, resuming of the pilgrimages to the holy places of Iraq.

Pashazadeh will visit Saudi Arabia on May 23 to attend the 6th conference of the ministers for Islamic foundations and affairs. The conference is entitled â€œThe role of the ministries for Islamic foundations and affairs in the idea security of the Islamic societiesâ€.

The chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office expected to address the conference.

Pashazadeh will meet with Saudi Minister of Hajj Fouad bin Abdussalam Farisi and Deputy Minister for Hajj affairs Hatim Gazi. They will discuss the organizing of Hajj pilgrimage this year.

The sides expected to sign relevant protocol on the results of the meeting.
