Relations with the Central Asian countries are among the main priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy, President Ilham Aliyev said at the Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and the Central Asian countries held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, APA reports.
The head of state noted that since the beginning of 2023, he has made a total of 16 visits to the brotherly countries of Central Asia, while his counterparts from those countries have paid 26 visits to Azerbaijan.
"These figures clearly demonstrate the dynamism and closeness of our relations, and also show that today Central Asia and Azerbaijan have already become a single geopolitical and geo-economic space," President Ilham Aliyev added.
