President Ilham Aliyev has signed the Law "On Crowdfunding," APA reports.
The law consists of 7 chapters and 23 articles. It regulates the legal, organizational and economic foundations for equity-based and debt-based crowdfunding in the Republic of Azerbaijan, sets out the requirements for the activities of crowdfunding platform operators, and defines the framework for state regulation and supervision of their activities.
The law will enter into force six months after the date of its publication.
